This Is Halloween
Lily is very anxious for Halloween, and is repeatedly asking me when it will be here. Today I finally got out the calendar and showed her how many days it would be until it would be Halloween, saying, "See, this is the 9th, and after all these days, here--the 31st--is Halloween." She said in exasperation, "It should be called the thirty last instead of the thirty first!

I agree! Halloween is still far away. I am going to Jimmy Eat World to celebrate the holiday. It should be fun. What are you guys doing? Trick or Trunk?
This is very funny. Sounds just like her. I wasn't there but I can see her frustration. She is feeling very happy that the decorations are coming out.
