This was the bathroom conversation tonight as Oscar and Lily were brushing their teeth:
L: Oscar, did you know that you have germs in your throat? You really do.
Me: Did Miss Angie (Lily's preschool teacher) say that?
L: No, my friend.
O: (Skeptically) Did her Mom tell her?
L: No, she just said it.
O: (Confident now) Then she doesn't know.
Ah, to be as knowledgeable as Mom.
