Confession: I think I am officially obsessed with the movie Twilight. Since it came out on November 21st, I've seen it not once, not twice, but three times. That's, on average, once per week. I try not to think about the things we coud have bought with that money. I've never gotten this worked up about a movie--ever. Okay, I saw Annie in the theater three times, but that was a long time ago.
Mine is probably not an uncommon confession for Twihard fans (I've been dying to use that word ever since I first heard it), but I'm not a Twihard fan. Well, alright, I have read all the books, and I have finished most of them in 48 hours (who hasn't?), but I will point out right now that they have not changed my life, and they are not the best books I've ever read. I have even gotten into some heated discussions about my annoyance with Bella, and my firm belief that she would have been better off with Jacob. But the movie is an entirely different animal.
Somehow seeing it on the big screen has completely changed it for me. Maybe it's all the rain. Or maybe it's the fact that Kristen Stewart doesn't annoy me half so much as Bella in the books, or maybe it's because Rob Pattinson is really cute. I love the special effects. I love the tension between Edward and Bella. I love it when she sits next to him in bio the first time. I love it when he saves her from getting crushed by the truck. I even love the cheesy meadow scene.
So if you haven't seen it, and want to, or have seen it, and want to see it again (who am I to judge?), give me a call. Why not make it four?

That's funny. I'm not a twihard fan (or whatever they are called), but I also have an intense desire to see the movie over and over. I've only seen it twice and LOVED it the second time. The first time I was skeptical. I have been begging J-P to go back. If you haven't seen it by the time I get there, I will definitely go with:)
I'm so glad that you liked it too!! So many commented it that it was corny and cheesy but.... so are the books :)
I've seen it twice and can't say that I'd complain about seeing it for a third ;)
