At Henry's 4 month appointment he weighed in at 14 1/2 lbs. and was 25 1/2 inches long. He is our joy boy, forever crooning love songs, and wowing crowds with his toothless grin, infectious laugh and crop of reddish brown hair. His swimmer's kick remains strong, but now he also enjoys grabbing his feet. His hands are a recent discovery, and enthrall him daily. He has rolled over from front to back, but it's not his best, or his favorite, trick. Henry is a social creature (though he prefers the company of some family members more than others), and wants to be where the people are. We're getting into a good nap groove, but gone are the days where he would sleep anytime, anywhere. It's hard to believe my baby is no longer a newborn. I was actually just getting used to the fact that I had a baby. I whisper to Henry that he is my favorite (and I write this only because Lily and Oscar don't know how to read), and it's only partly true. It's refreshing to be with someone who loves me all the time, never talks sass and makes messes that can be cleaned up with a maximum of two wipes.
