Year in Review

Dear William,

I was thinking the other day how when you were a few months old, I loved to touch your nose and this little spot on your chin because they were the only parts of your face not covered with eczema. Now here you are, a year old, and wow, we've come a long way since then. In the last couple months you've started to:

scoot
clap
wave
say uh-oh
and charm every woman we encounter in the grocery store.

I still worry about you, just not as much as I used to. And the coming months no longer fill me with dread. But Baby, let me just say, I wouldn't trade this year for anything. You haven't been the only one learning and growing. So here's to the next year. I think it's gonna be a great one.
