A Tall Tale

J-P, this one's for you.

I like to throw out little nuggets of knowledge to the kids now and again. It makes me feel like I'm actually teaching them something, as opposed to just cleaning up after them, which is what I feel like I do most of the time.

Today, Oscar started asking about bones, which led to growing, and I asked them, did they know they were growing in their sleep? They said, no, they didn't know. Then Oscar said, "Since Uncle J-P is the tallest person we know, he must have gotten a lot of sleep when he was a kid!"

Kids say the best things. We are going through the "why?" stage. Sometimes I just don't know the answer!

With that logic I should be a lot taller.
I'm not...and Oscar won't be tall with that logic since he wakes up so early and doesn't nap. Maybe this could be a negotiating point.
