A-pear-ent

Now that Henry is seven months old, he is regularly eating solids, and by solids I actually mean pears. At six months I purchased my super organic baby rice cereal, got out the cute little baby spoons, lovingly prepared a bowl, and what do you know? He spit it out. Apples? Spit out. Bananas, peas, squash--yucky face, spit, spit, spit. Pears? Success! This past week, I discovered he also likes sweet potatoes. So a fruit and a vegetable. That's well-rounded, right?

that's really funny, those are basically the only two things Ian eats as well (he does eat finger foods now). If I want him to eat anything else I have to hide it in the pears or the sweet potatoes. Cauliflower puree hides well in pears. I hide canned salmon in the sweet potatoes.

p.s. he is SO cute
