Oh Henry!

I am so in love. It could very well be the hair. Yes, Oscar and Lily both had hair when they were born, but no, it was not this dark, or this plentiful. In the hospital, one of the nurses said to me, "Oh, you're the one with the baby with the hair."

Fantastic hair aside, I haven't really been such a fan of the newborn stage in the past (which maybe I shouldn't admit as a mother), but I just can't get enough of Henry. I don't ever want to put him down. I could just stare at him all day--wait, I do stare at him all day. I love the way he makes a little "o" with his mouth, I love the almost imperceptible cleft in his chin and I love it when he laughs in his sleep.

So if you need me, you know where to find me. I'll be holding Henry.

Marlene- He sure is precious! Thanks for sharing him with me last night. I don't know if I will ever get over the cute-ness of his hair--truly amazing! You are a fantastic writer. I can't wait to hear more.
