Labor Day Weekend in Utah

This is a photo taken by Rachel's Canon camera. It looks pretty good. All four of my sisters came to Delta when Marlene and I were going. We had a lot of fun with everyone- spending our time together over the Labor Day Weekend. Oscar got to play with Shaelea and Alex and enjoyed special time with each of his Aunts. He keeps saying, "Aunt Sarah" or "Aunt Amie." He is also saying "Uncle JP" and "Grandpa Grandpa" and "Grandma Scoville." I thought that you might enjoy this entry and picture.

Our trip home from Utah was quite enjoyable. It actually seemed to be quicker than our trip to Utah. We stopped at McDonald's to give the kids a rest from driving in the car and they were great. Oscar loved the play area (even though he started to scream in at the top of his lungs when were at the top of the play area). He must be a little bit claustrophobic like his Dad. (The good memories I have of being held under a blanket by my loving brothers--he,he. They laugh when I bring this up. I do have some issues with claustrophobia.)

We had a relaxing time with Mom and Dad Scoville or in Oscar's words "Grandpa-Grandpa and Grandma Scoville." He is actually starting to distinguish between his grandparents. He can say both Grandma and Grandpa Scoville and Schaefer and he seems to have a pretty good idea of who he is thinking about when he says it.

We played monopoly with Alex, Mat, Amie, and Sarah. We, men, were the last standing and then we eventually just stopped playing the game because it was taking too long. And we played the short version. Spencer, where are you when we need someone to help us stick out the full game and play to the end. Alex would have sure loved to have you there to help him finish the game. Mat was beating us all but with some generosity on%2
